The coil car project
The other day I started the coil car project. It turned out to be more work than I expected. As it stands now,I have the cars half way complete. These are by far the nicest cars that will be on the layout. The fine detail is unbelievable and I can’t wait to finish the construction so I can paint them. I never knew there was this type of kit out there. Of course I saw pictures and articles in the magizens but I have never seen one up close. I’m sold on this type of craftsman kit and will be looking for more of these in the future to replace the older shake the box freight cars. Rail Yard Models did a great job and I can’t say enough good things about this kit.
